Create a Blog on Google Blogger

According to www.wpvirtuoso.com, there are about 152 Million blogs on the internet and a new blog is added to what they call blogosphere every half a second which means 172, 800 blogs a day. That's a very surprising number of blogs and one funny thought came out from my head: "What the f*. If the internet will have a library, maybe the 'Blog' section will accommodate almost half the internet library book shelves."

So if you plan to become a blogger and you would like to submit your own blog and join in the blogosphere world, then you'll be counted for this day. If you're still bothered thinking about that 152 million numbers of blogs on the internet and start to get frustrated, maybe you should try it first. Of course if you're new to the blogging environment, you should expect low traffic. To get a higher exposure of your blog, you as a blogger should consider learning from other pro bloggers by getting tips and ideas from them. One effective way that I've learned since I'm also a new blogger is to create a good content post and should contain at least 300 words. Yap 300 words and more!. 

There are a lot of things you and I should learn about blogging, but face that later. First, let's start on how to create a blog on Google Blogger.

Blogger is owned and hosted by Google using a subdomain blogspot.com. This is where you can create your first blog and is absolutely free. To  get started, please follow these few steps.

Step 1. Sign into your Google account and go to www.blogger.com to open your Blogger homepage. 

Step 2. In your Blogger homepage, click New Blog. Enter your new blog title and a unique blog address like this yoursitename.blogspot.com. Change yoursitename with your blog site name. If your site name is approved or available, select a free template to use then click Create Blog. 

Step 3. In your Blogger homepage, click the newly created blog to open its dashboard.

Step 4. Your blog has already been created and can be viewed, but you have no post yet, so you should create your at least one. To create your first post, go to Posts menu on your blog dashboard or simply click New Post  on top of your dashboard menu.

Step 5. Enter your new post title and write the content then click Publish.

Step 6. To view your new blog, click View Blog on top of your blog dashboard.

Step 7. If you want to customize your blog layout and add gadgets, click Layout menu in your blog dashboard. You may edit the contents by clicking the Edit or rearrange the gadgets location by dragging the gadget and dropping to a particular location.

Step 8. And if you want to customize your blog template, click Template menu in your blog dashboard.

1. To edit your Template properties, click Customize.

2. For advanced Template customization, click Edit HTML. (Note: You must have at least basic knowledge in writing or editing HTML codes.) You may also like to visit helplogger for useful blogger widgets to add on your blog.

Now that you have successfully published your new blog, keep posting interesting articles regularly at least every week to attract visitors and continue to customize your blog template design to make it look more professional.
